    @yaktipper @ …
@yaktipper @yaktipper “Need”? Not the point. This is one -more- VERY effective way to exercise, for those who want it & can afford it. Even CrossFit’s not “need”-ed : The average person can achieve more strength & endurance than they’ll ever need or use from 20 minutes of pushups, chinups, dips, crunches, & bodyweight squats, every other day, & rope jumping alternate days.

That machine is freakin awesome how much is it to buy one

    $100G cars do what …
$100G cars do what $20G cars do. Like it. Afford it. Buy it. ROM’s good on physiology: Harder you can work, shorter you have to work, (within reason): Elite runners get a workout w/a mile run. Most folks run too slow, (intensity too low), or cant finish mile,(volume too low). ROM allows us to work our hardest for 4min. As long as you give an honest full effort, you’re good in 4 min. Not a necessity, a luxury. I don’t have one, & don’t have a Mercedes either, but I’d love to have both.

Ah ha ha I second …
Ah ha ha I second Kdl0.

CrossFit body weight workouts are free and will kick your butt in 4 minutes as well.

The idea of exercising for less time, and more intensely is right on. You don’t need a $15K machine for that.

    Gee, I can’t …
Gee, I can’t imagine why anyone would hate on a product that isn’t willing to prove itself that it defies the laws of physiology without making someone spend $15,000.

I don’t buy their crap that the experts are intentionally ignoring them. If the product worked like they claimed, there would always be some bright-eyed fresh Ph.D willing to tell the world about it.

    Every body has been …
Every body has been led to believe just the opposite. So to understand how exercise really works is saying they have been wasting time for all these years. Wasting time is spending more time than something requires. But you know what an expert is? A spurt is a drip under pressure. So an “EX” spurt is a drip:-)

Yes it is. But at Quick Gym of Co/Springs we can get you one for thousands less. For more information or to try one call 719-440-1745

    Yea. Your about as …
Yea. Your about as right as those believing the sun orbits the earth or still believes the earth is flat. I’ll take that challenge as soon as you can accept being wrong. I have people that come into my gym, Quick Gym of Co/Springs and bet me $100 dollars but refuse to get on the machine and after only showing the studies walk out WITHOUT leaving the $100.

    So why is everyone …
So why is everyone hatin’ on the ROM without even trying it? It’s like you don’t even want something to work for people. I have one, and it’s great.

    wow, what a piece …
wow, what a piece of sh*t! who in their tiny mind would pay 15k for this modern day snake oil? Want to get fit and lose weight? What you need is 6 feet of floor space, patience, effort, knowledge of how to work out correctly (visit a library), and a sensible diet.

  16. Nelvarro

    Anyone with a basic …
Anyone with a basic understanding of bio-organic chemistry can tell you that it takes longer than 4 minutes to ?-oxidize fats. During this “4 minutes” you will hardly even be depleting your glycogen stores. Prove me wrong, well actually don’t, because I know I’m right.

    is this the machine …
is this the machine that cost 15K?

  18. lazur1

    You’re disregarding …
You’re disregarding the issue: It’s the “wussies” who -need- the exercise. Athletic young poeple get their exercise virtually without a thought, just by expressing their high energy levels & competitive spirit. For the population at large to be as healthy & fit as possible: older, fatter, less active, less motivated people,(wussies),must also exercise.

  19. lazur1

    I don’t understand …
I don’t understand what you mean. 1/You dont do “following sets”: You do -one- four minute set per workout. 2/You -will- know what your objective effort was:The meter will register how much total work you did, & the maximum workload level you hit. 3/Exercise itself is -supposed to- make you weaker -during- the workout . It’s from the rest & sleep -afterwards- that you get stronger & more muscular.

  20. lazur1

    This is not for …
This is not for athletes. The fortunate ones who can run long & hard enough to get an exercise effect without injury should indeed do so. (If you can run a 6 minute mile, you can get a full workout from that alone.) Many, if not most of the population will tire or get hurt before they get any advantage from running. I can’t afford an ROM, (nor fit it in my place), but I’ve tried it, & it works very well.

Machines are a wusses way out

  22. Alcidefreedom666

    If you make self …
If you make self weaker on the following sets, you will never know it and might make your self weaker overall, while the machine make you think otherwise, nothing is better than gravity.

    what a dangerous …
what a dangerous piece of workout equipment. this should be in the hall of shame with the other crap that is advertised on tv when you should be sleeping. that rowing range of motion WILL destroy your lumbar region of the spine in no time from being hyper flexed and your knees will get jack hammered doing those step mill style exercises too!
